What you can count on

Nothing hidden

Every decision is explained in writing before work begins. You decide what happens to your watch.

Workshop standard

Work is carried out at the bench with proper equipment — not outsourced, not rushed through.

Written record

You leave with a note of what was done, what was measured, and what was left alone — and why.

Patina respected

Vintage pieces are treated as objects with history. Cosmetic change is never assumed to be an improvement.

A question costs nothing

Bring the watch in, or describe what you are seeing. We will tell you what we think is going on before any commitment is made.

common questions

What people ask

Do I need to make an appointment to drop off a watch?
Walk-ins are welcome during workshop hours. If you are travelling from outside George Town or have several pieces, a short message ahead of time is helpful so we can give each watch the attention it needs.
How do you handle a watch that needs more than one service?
We assess the piece first and describe what we see. If additional work would help, we explain it and quote separately — you choose what to proceed with. Nothing is added to the scope without your agreement.
What happens if parts are needed for a vintage watch?
We contact you before sourcing anything. Some parts take time to locate correctly, which is why the Vintage Dial and Hand Care service carries a two-to-three week window. We update you as the work progresses.
Can I see the timing results for my watch?
Yes. The Timing Regulation service includes a printed before-and-after chart. The figures are explained in plain language — not just handed over as raw numbers.
Is there a charge if you inspect a watch and no work is needed?
A brief initial look at the watch to understand what it needs carries no fee. If a detailed bench assessment is required, we discuss the cost with you beforehand.
What currency and payment methods do you accept?
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We accept cash, bank transfer and major card payments. Payment is taken when the work is collected.
